What you’ll do:
As a Senior Technical Manager, you’ll be responsible for the Product Team’s ways of working and guiding it using a variety of technologies to realise the product roadmap. You’ll focus on supporting Product Owners and Technical Leads to manage the product lifecycle - optimising the flow of work to realise value sooner. The role can vary across organisations, being more project management focused in some, or more strategy, service-focused and coaching-focused in others.
Work collaboratively with the Finance Systems Global Product Owners and Global Architect to strike the right balance between business delivery, technology enablement and operations
Manage the operational aspects of the delivery teams across a product line, ensuring financial, risk, legal, security and other compliance requirements are met
Systematically measure and remove impediments, and ensure a metrics-focused approach towards objectives & key results realisation and product performance
Drive adoption of Agile ways of working in the Product teams and improve supplier performance by fostering strong relationships
Who you are:
BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 5 years of experience or MS degree with 2 years of experience
5+ years work experience in SAP product consulting, systems integration or as an architect
Good understanding of SAP best practices, security concepts and analysing, creating system specifications, and developing tests and implementing business solutions with SAP technologies
Expertise in implementing authorisation checks in ABAP objects and development with very good understanding of SAP modules such as Finance, MM, SD, FSCM and RAR
Experience working with interfaces in addition to Web Services, such as Java connectors and Rest APIs communicating with non-SAP applications
Experience managing projects and working with a team of engineers and presenting to customers, business stakeholders and architects
Ability to assess and manage technical risks and issues and meet deadlines without compromising on quality
Good communication skills in English with the ability to report both verbally and in writing to executive level
