Job Description
Your Role:
- Design and modify test frameworks
- Scope and estimate testing effort, help plan projects and track progress
- Participate in a culture of responsibility and support projects throughout all phases of the development life (e.g., design, code, test, release)
- Support and provide input to the team goals and understand/ align with our company vision to help you deliver and contribute
- Triage and resolve production issues
- Utilise knowledge of software design and work closely with scrum team to continually reassess usability, design, and risk; and update testing strategies appropriately
- Work in close collaboration with our software engineers to develop test automation tools for iOS and Android
- As part of agile team, contribute to product design, requirement review, functional testing, integration testing and regression testing
Qualifications
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Minimum 2-5 years experience in a same or similar role
- You have a serious passion for high quality products and being part of a collaborative engineering team - together we develop state-of-the-art mobile apps
- Self managing when you need to be, highly motivated with a ‘problem-solver’ mindset
- Strong comprehension understanding of Agile methodologies
- Experience with defect/issue tracking systems
- Java, Android or iOS programming skills desirable
- Experience with app test automation frameworks (e.g., Espresso, XCUITest, Cucumber)

About the role:
As part of our growth journey, we are looking for a talented QA Engineer to join our Mobile QA Team. The Mobile QA team's primary responsibilities include performing automated and manual testing of mobile devices and software applications (Gumtree, Carsguide and Autotrader) for quality assurance (QA) of both iOS and Android operating systems.
This role works as part of a cross- functional, agile team where you’ll have the ability to contribute to product design, requirement review, functional,vintegration and regression testing.
